From genre pioneers such as Frans Carlqvist (Limonious, Pavan), Daniel Savio, and Perttu Häkkinen (Randy Barracuda, The Golden Retreivers), to younger whippersnappers like Shitaraba, a teenage skweeester from Japan, "Skweee Cruise" takes you on a sonic odyssey unlike any other. The album touches on Skweee ingredients such as funk, electro, hip hop, video game boisterousness, and arabic zing that the genre is famous for, but also drops anchor into darker, more ambient territory, all the while maintaining the dichotomy of space and non-space which helps to define the soul and substance of the genre.
